Our morning begins along quiet forest trails as we explore a variety of habitats in search of some of the Yucatán Peninsula's most representative birds. Depending on the season, we may encounter species such as Ocellated Turkey, Lesson's and Turquoise-browed Motmots, Keel-billed Toucan, Collared Aracari, White-fronted and Yucatán Amazons, Black-headed, Gartered and Collared Trogons, several species of woodcreepers, woodpeckers, hummingbirds, and many more. The reserve's healthy forest also provides excellent opportunities to observe butterflies, reptiles, orchids, bromeliads, and other wildlife.

Uxuxubi offers a remarkably peaceful experience with very few visitors, allowing us to enjoy the sounds of the forest and observe wildlife at a relaxed pace.
